BioInfoMed International Symposium

For the third time, Burgas hosted the large-scale International Symposium on Bioinformatics and Biomedicine – BioInfoMed. The forum took place at the Congress Center – Burgas from July 4-6, 2024. The organizers traditionally include Burgas State University “Prof. Dr. Assen Zlatarov,” the Institute of Biophysics and Biomedical Engineering at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS), the Union of Scientists in Bulgaria: the “Informatics” section and the “Biomedical Engineering” section, and AO Research Institute Davos.

At the symposium, Prof. Sotirov from Digihub presented a paper on the topic “An Intelligent Energy Saving System Approach for a Smart City: Intuitionistic Fuzzy Estimates of Energy Consumption in Bulgaria and Greece,” co-authored with Ina Agafonova, Petko Georgiev, Vladimir Poulkov, Agata Manolova, Albena Mihovska, Boyan Popunkov, Daniela Aleksieva, Spyros Denazis, Tanya Politi, Evi Faliagka, Christos Antonopoulos, Eleni Christopoulou, Christos Tranoris, Didoe Prevedourou, Nikos Kostis, Ioanna Ioannou, Christophoros Christophorou, Iacovos Ioannou, and Vasos Vassiliou. 

The paper will be published in the Springer book series.
