METACITIES at Researchers’ Night in Nicosia!
METACITIES joined this year’s Researchers’ Night in Nicosia, bringing Digital Twin technologies closer to the public and showcasing how they can support more sustainable and resilient cities.
Visitors had the opportunity to explore the Nicosia Urban Heat Island Simulator, discover how different urban interventions can help address heat in our cities, and learn more about the METACITIES Digital Twins and Proofs of Concept. A dedicated questionnaire also invited visitors to share their feedback on the Cyprus PoC, providing valuable input from potential users and citizens.
The METACITIES team also distributed new promotional materials, including leaflets, T-shirts and mugs, while engaging with visitors and discussing the project’s vision for the cities of the future.
A big thank you to everyone who visited us and to our Cyprus partners Cyprus Consumers Association, CYENS Centre of Excellence, PrimeTel and eBOS Technologies for supporting METACITIES’ presence at the event!
