Webinar: Emerging Technologies for Innovation and Growth
On 16 July 2026, p-NET Emerging Networks and Applications, together with InnoAgora and with the support of the METACITIES Excellence Hub in South-Eastern Europe, successfully organised the webinar “Emerging Technologies for Innovation and Growth.”
InnoAgora is a networking and matchmaking platform developed by the Hellenic Development Bank (HDB) that connects startups, SMEs, investors, and business support organisations to foster innovation, collaboration, and digital transformation.
The webinar was designed to showcase the opportunities offered by emerging digital technologies, demonstrating how the Metaverse and Digital Twins can help organisations innovate, improve operational efficiency, and create new business opportunities through practical examples and real-world use cases.
During the session, participants discovered:
- How p-NET supports digital innovation and technology adoption.
- The business opportunities offered by the Metaverse.
- How Digital Twins enable simulation, optimisation, and better decision-making.
- Practical examples and real-world use cases demonstrating the value of these technologies across different sectors.
By bringing these technologies closer to the business community, the webinar encouraged organisations to explore new approaches to digital transformation and highlighted the practical benefits of adopting innovative digital solutions.
The event also showcased how initiatives such as the METACITIES Excellence Hub are helping bridge the gap between cutting-edge research and real-world business applications, enabling startups and SMEs to better understand and adopt emerging technologies.
